The Chef Jeff BBQ Benefit at Pig Beach is an amazing time.
Jeff Michner was the Executive Chef of Pig Beach BBQ in Gowanus, Brooklyn. He tragically and suddenly passed away in the spring of 2018 at the age of 36, leaving behind his wife, Sara, and his 16-month-old daughter Hayes. A foundation was created in Jeff's honor to keep his memory with us. The organization embraces the things he loved best: family, friends, and great food. The Jeff Michner Foundation creates scholarships for culinary students, supporting families managing loss and grief.
The Jeff Michner BBQ Benefit celebrates Jeff with an epic barbecue at the Pig Beach location in Queens, NY, with some of the country’s greatest pitmasters. This edition will be hosted by celebrity chef and pitmaster Michael Symon.
